Ive been wanting to make a YouTube channel for years and as my passion for cannabis knowledge grows daily. Ive decided it's time to spread my cannabis knowledge through the interwebs and join the YouTube community.

When I sit down and think about cannabis and break it down in my head I always think about THC & CBD for obvious reasons however, recently ive been hearing alot about CBG and when I looked into it a little further CBG is a cannabinoid that really deserves more attention.

Also known as cannabigerol CBG is an active compound in cannabis.
CBG is mostly known for its anti-bacterial effects and recent studys have shown that CBG produces feelings of relaxation and overall feelings of synergy and balance. 
CBG has also been found to provide anti anxiety effects and has anti fungal properties.  Its been found that CBG has been helpful in the treatment of Glaucoma,IBS,Depression and may inhibit tumor growth.

medical marijuana for beginners

Entering the medical marijuana and cannabis community can be intimating. Especially if you have zero knowledge on the subject.

As someone who never experimented with cannabis until I started using it medicinally. I can tell you my first trip to a dispensary I was nervous.  However, now 2 years later my days are consumed with educating myself to the fullest on everything and anything cannabis related. I want to share my knowledge so you can feel confident and calm making the transition into the medical marijuana community and let the healing begin.

"The basics" 

Lets start with the most common:

Cannabis can be subdivided into two main subspecies Sativa and Indica. Mixing variations of the two creates Hybrid strains.

Each strain has its own unique effects on the mind and body. Resulting in many different health benefits and treatment for a wide range of ailments all the way from minor headaches,aches and pains to very serious conditions such as cancer, diabetes and HIV. 

It is important to know the difference between indica dominant strains and sativa dominant strains because they can have very different medicinal benefits and certain strains can be utilized to specifically treat a condition and/or illness.

Sativa - sativa dominant strains tend to have a pick me up effect providing an Energized,cerebral high. A lot of patients tend to medicate with sativa strains during the daytime to help them keep a calm mind while maintaining the energy to get things done. Sativas are wonderful for pain management and depression,

Indica - indica dominant strains tend to provide a very relaxed,calming effect perfect for patients looking for relief from insomnia,anxiety,stress, headaches and chronic pain. 

 Keep in mind, each strain sativa or indica dominant and/or hybrid strainscould possibly effect everyone differently. Many factors such as genetics,growers, manufacturing/aging process ie drying and curing can change the end results drastically. 

Hybrid - hybrid strains can be ideal for patients because the have the great benefits of both sativa and indica together. Hybrids can be indica dominant or sativa dominant or split 50/50.

 There is so much to learn about cannabis and we all have to start somewhere.

Phoenix Tears

Over the past few weeks Ive had the pleasure of speaking with medical marijuana patients who are currently medicating with a concentrated cannabis extract called Phoenix Tears. Also known as Rick Simpson oil, this powerful concentrate has serious healing powers and is the answer to many if not all very serious conditions.

The individuals I spoke with all medicate with phoenix tears and suffer from very different ailments. chronic headaches,pain,seizures,auto immune diseases, skin cancer and cancer patients given 2 weeks to live more than a year ago. The healing effects are incredible. Majority of patients seeing a difference in just a few hours. one patient suffered daily from seizures and has not had a seizure since starting phoenix tears.

THC is natures cancer cure. Along with diabetes, arthritis, depression, chronic pain, infections, inflammation, blood pressure, sleeping problems,anxiety, asthma,seizures the list goes on and on.

Cancer patients are advised to follow a strict 90-day regime. It requires 60 grams of this cannabis oil to cure cancer. It takes the average person 3 months to consume the 60 grams. Starting with a grain of rice sized amount under your tongue 2-3 times a day and increasing that amount as fast as your body can handle over that 90 days. The faster you consume the oil the better. It takes 1 pound of good marijuana to make 60 grams of oil. After the 90 day period many people stay on the oil as maintenance but decrease the amount significantly to 1 gram per month.

If you are thinking of using phoenix tears please make sure you get it from a reputable source. Ask questions find out exactly how its made. There are MANY people selling knock-off versions trying to make a quick buck.
